Kevin McCarthy is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), Advanced Rolfer®(CAR) and Rolf Movement Practitioner (RMP) specializing in the effects of trauma and chronic pain on the body.
Originally trained in Boulder, Colorado at the Rolf Institute® for Structural Integration, with further training in trauma work through the Somatic Experiencing® Trauma Institute, Kevin’s specialized practice brings a deep and studied knowledge of the body together with an appreciation for the impact of the mind and perception on our own ability to heal.
He has additional training in osteopathic manipulation, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, energy work, trauma therapy, myofascial release, and holds an Advanced certification in Rolfing® Structural Integration and a specialized certification in Rolf Movement®. He is board-certified by the International Association of Structural Integrators®.
Kevin’s 15 years of experience, along with these many and diverse skills are combined into powerful sessions dedicated to helping people find depth and meaning in their own healing experience. Kevin’s sessions are a surprising and effective mix of talk therapy, manual intervention and movement exploration structured to support the client’s realization of their emotional, mental and physical health in a safe and welcoming environment.

Carrie Miller is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in the the impact of trauma and mental health on relationships. She works with individuals, couples and families to both minimize the impacts of trauma on relationships and to harness the power of relationship for the support and healing of the individual.
Carrie’s approach is systemic and wholistic. She utilizes the best and most up to date research and blends that with a personal style that is light, positive and heart centered. Carrie is a humanist passionate about healing, hers and yours, and is a trusted guide for anyone on the path to freedom and resilience.
You would be hard pressed to find a therapist better trained in trauma healing. Carrie’s training includes several gold standard approaches including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Safe and Sound Protocol. Carrie has completed all of the training necessary to become a Certified Family Trauma Professional.
She has also been fully trained in the gold standard approach for couples therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and blends that with additional training from the Gottman Institute.
Much of Carrie’s systemic work is centered on a deep understanding of attachment patterns. She helps couples understand their attachment styles and use that knowledge to create a safe, thriving relationship that is rich, vibrant and dynamic.
Carrie has practiced meditation for 30 years and utilizes mindfulness, meditation and breath work a great deal in her work with clients.
Carrie is committed to a continual self-reflective and growth process, understanding and challenging her own privilege and bias and she works hard to be ever more effective at holding a healing space for anyone who seeks her services. Carrie is fluent in Spanish and has over 15 years experience working with Latino families in Minneapolis.
Carrie is a mom to two twice exceptional children and has extensive personal experience living and working with trauma and neurodivergence in all its many challenging and awe-inspiring manifestations.
